The world is going mad around us. The majority of mankind seems intent on destroying our planet. Our leaders appear to be working to their own agendas rather than helping the people who look to them for leadership. We are living under restrictions and constraints I have not seen before; Pressured to do, or not do, this or that. Many are thinking, “where will it all end?”

But I don’t have to wonder “where will it all end?” because I know where it will end. During these tough times I know that God has a plan for the earth, and He has a plan for me. His word, the Bible tells me this very clearly.

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’” (Jeremiah 29:11, NLT)

That future and hope are on this earth, in God’s kingdom when everyone will turn to God and the earth will be filled with His glory. The prayer of believers for centuries has been “May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matt 6:10, NLT)

The day is fast approaching when “...the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14, NLT)
