Everyone has faith

Faith is defined as complete trust or confidence in someone or something. For example everyone has faith that day will follow night. Hebrews 11:1-3 says “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” (NIV)

Faith is not exclusive to Christians who believe that God created the heavens and the earth; it is also required by those who believe that life began another way. For Christians, believing in God gives us a meaning to why we are here and a hope for something to come.

We believe in God because doing this makes sense of what we observe. Romans 1:20 says “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” (NIV)

O

We encourage you to search the Bible for yourself and make up your own mind. We encourage you to find out more about God’s plan with this earth and how having faith will give you a hope for the future. If you have to have faith in how we got here, why not have faith that we are here for a purpose and that there is hope for something more.

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
