Trust vs doubt

How many people do you completely trust?

I'm sure we would all have different answers to that question, depending on our age and circumstances.

Something happened recently that made me doubt if what we were informed of was completely true or not. With social media and modern technology and people’s ability to change what we see and hear to suit their own agenda, sadly we begin to doubt many things and not completely trust many people.

However, I am extremely thankful that I have complete trust in God and His son Jesus and what we read in the Bible about God's plan for the world. 

Here are a couple of verses about trust from the Bible: 

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5, NIV)

"Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe" (Proverbs 29:25, NIV)

What a relief and joy it is to be able to totally trust God in spite of the strange place our world has become!
