God's love reflected around us
I often go for a walk, and it amazes me how magical and blessed this world we live in is.
Whether I see a sunset, a family of black swans on the lake, the different smells each season brings, or simply the sun shining through a myriad of clouds, it all certainly helps me stop and think how this all began.
To believe a creator made all this, as I do, makes me often hum “how great thou art”. It brings to mind David's words in the Bible, “when I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place.” (Psalm 8:3 ESV)
Yes this beautiful world we live in is filled with God’s beauty.
Just take a minute to forget the hustle and bustle of traffic, and notice God’s love is everywhere. The apostle John declared, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that he whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 ESV)
So not only did God create this beautiful world that we get to live in, He also created a plan and gave us our purpose in life.
If you have ever wondered about life and our purpose, and notice God’s love reflected all around us, then don’t hesitate. Open the Bible. It's God’s word, and it’s all there.
Start at the beginning, Genesis 1:1 (ESV) “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 ESV)
It can change your life!
