Where is your home?

There is a well-known saying: “Home is where the heart is.” This is generally attributed to a Roman, known by historians as ‘Pliny the Elder’ – dating back to the first century.

The saying implies that a home is not just the physical structure we live in, it’s a place where we feel comfortable and happy. That often revolves around those we share our lives with, or the location we’re in, or anything else that brings us joy.

It is also a fact in these difficult economic times that owning a physical house is becoming further and further out of reach for many people – so having a ‘home’ is even more important.

God has promised that all of us, through the agency of His son Jesus, can have a true ‘home’.

Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Isaiah 51:11 (NIV)

The Bible contains all the information you need about this wonderful time.
