Time
Time is an interesting concept. We’re all aware of its’ passing, but it’s not a physical thing. We can’t see it, hear it, or touch it. Yet we all feel the effect of time in our bodies, don’t we? Time absolutely confirms our mortality – as opposed to God, to whom time is irrelevant.
“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8 NKJV)
Each of us has a finite amount of time to live, but this is not a pleasant thought to dwell on so we tend to put it aside. It’s probably for the best that we’re not aware how much we have – although it has been suggested that if we did, we might be more careful about how we use this precious resource.
If you would like to never worry about time again, the Bible has the answer to this and much more.
