Scams

I recently had the misfortune to fall for a scam. There wasn’t a lot of money involved so I’ve been able to put it down to experience. But this is a bit of an epidemic and it’s getting worse.

According to Google there was an estimated $1 trillion dollars lost to scams world-wide last year! Unfortunately for some people, one mistake has led to losing their entire life savings. It can be devastating.

I think most of us would have heard the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  This is a direct quote from the words of Jesus found in the Bible in Matthew 7:12.

Once again we find advice on lifestyle in the Bible that can only be of benefit to us all. If everyone followed what Jesus taught there would be a lot less misery and hurt. Right now this isn’t happening, but one day it will – and the world will be a much better place!
