Can we understand God?

This verse from God’s Bible answers the question very clearly. The answer is ‘No’.

“Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.”  Ecclesiastes 11:5 (NLT)

So if I can’t understand God, what’s the point?

As I see it, the wind blows, babies grow, life goes on and God’s activities keep happening. The fact that I don’t understand how it all happens, doesn’t alter the fact that it does, nevertheless, happen.

Perhaps the message is to trust God; that He will keep everything happening which should. After all, that isn’t under my control anyway. What is under my control is the ability to focus on being the best person I can be in His sight. Because He wants what’s best for me. And for you.

So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.”  Luke 12:32 (NLT)

There’s a great deal more about God’s plan for this earth and for you and me in His Bible. But there is a catch! We do have to read it.
